Jellicoe Express
Thursday 24th September at 7.30 pm at the Deerness Hall. Robert Foden will tell us all about the train which carried military personel between Orkney and the rest of the UK.

Curry and Ceilidh Night
Come and Celebrate 25 years of the New Deerness Community Centre with a curry night and Dance to Murray Cowie. There will be mince for those who don’t want curry. Please get your tickets by Wednesday 2nd September so we know how much to cook. Tickets on sale at Deerness Stores.

Annual Outing 2026
Burgar Hill 3rd August 2026 A visit to the Burgar Hill windfarm including a presentation by Melissa Spence and a chance to look around (weather permitting).
